OREGON-IDAHO UTILITIES, INC Oregon-Idaho Uilities annonc th avilability of Lifeline telephone and broadband service for qualifying low income Oregon customers. Lifeline is a GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM that is non-transferable. This program is limited to one discount per household, consisting of either wireline, wireless, or broadband service. Oregonians who receive one of the qualifying benefits may receive up to a S12.75 reduction in their monthly bill for local residential telephone service or up to a $9.25 reduction in their monthly bill for broadband service. Proof of eligibility may be necessary for enrolment The eligibility criteria for Oregon Lifeline includes the following: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program; Food Stamps (SNAP) Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Medicaid Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8) *Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit You may also qualify if your total income is at or below 135% of federal poverty guidelines.
