SEEKING APPLICANTS AD HOC ONTARIO PROMISE ONTARIO 529 SCHOLARSHIP THE GATEWAY TO ADVENTURE - 1884- PROGRAM COMMITTEE The City of Ontario is seeking applications for appointment from residents of Ontario to sit on an Ad-Hoc Ontario Promise 529 Scholarship Program Committee. The Committee will create and implement the City Council's Ontario Promise Program. The program will create and continue to add scholarship money to a 529 Education Savings Plan for post-graduation schooling or training for each youth living in Ontario at Kindergarten, 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th grades. Applicants must be a resident within the city limits of Ontario. The Committee will be comprised of five citizens at large and two Ontario City Councilors. The group will begin meeting as soon as a committee has been established. These positions are voluntary, selections will be made by the Ontario City Council, and will become effective immediately upon appointment. Meetings will be held in the evening at Ontario City Hall.
