City of Ontario ERIO Mayor & Councilor Seat Vacancies ego egues The City of Ontario will have the position of Mayor and three City Council seats become vacant at the completion of the 2018 calendar year. The terms run for four (4) years, with a term of service expiring in December 2022. Each position requires residency within the Ontario city limits for a minimum of one year, vot er registration in the City of Ontario, and applicant cannot be currently holding ny other publicly elected position. The City Council meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall. A second meeting may be called by Council.
