Lifeways, Inc. has been serving Malheur County, Oregon since 1964. In 1997, Lifeways was incorporated as a private nonprofit organization. In 2005 the agency assumed responsibility for mental health treatment in Umatilla County, Oregon and is now also serving Idaho Treasure Valley.
Lifeways is the largest behavioral health care provider in the region with nearly 250 employees in 16 locations.
Lifeways is certified by the State of Oregon to provide mental health and addictions services and also licensed to serve Idaho. The agency holds a Certificate of Credentialing from Greater Oregon Behavioral Health Inc., and is a member of the National Council of Community Behavioral Health Care, as well as the National Association of County Behavioral Health Care.
